Spring Fever Itch

3.14.2011

I made the mistake of prowling through photos of my flowers from last Summer! NOW I really have the itch to get outside and start planting but I know it is way too early!! Does anyone else have the itch?

  1. Hi Rhonda, you're not the only one who got the itch hehehe...i've been nagging at my husband to take me to the garden centre which he said, no shopping for seeds/plants yet as it's too early, but your home is so beautiful, lovely plants and flowers too , i'm so envious!! x

  4. Yes, yes, yes. I am itching all over, but I am trying to control scratching. My husband's philosophy is April 15. He grew up on a farm, and his daddy always waited until then. And, Mother Nature is tempting us even more with all the blooms around us.

Your lawn and gardens are gorgeous. I love coleus.

  6. What a lovely garden! I did get out and plant a little this weekend. We planted some spring veggies, like peas lettuce and radishes in the kitchen garden, and planted some Carolina Jasmine next to our pergola.

I am visiting from Rhondi's blog. Nice to meet you!

  11. Hi Rhondi! I just heard about you from Rhondi's blog and wanted to stop by and tell you I love your transformations of your outside and your kitchen! I just came through Charlotte last week on our way back from vacation and I have to tell you that you will be doing gardening long before we do in Ohio. I can't wait to get out in my yard either! Have fun with your blog and welcome!~Patti

  12. Hi Rhonda,
Just popping in to welcome you to the blogging world. I was led here through Rhondi's blog. Your house and garden are just beautiful.
I live a bit north of Charlotte and have been getting out there to garden when the weather permits. Looks like we're headed for several days in the 70s. Can't wait for that.

  15. I get the itch in January! I put up a metal rack with growing lights and heat mats to start seedlings. This year I am behind but I am finally at it and enjoying every sprout that pops up.
